A new winter hobby

Shortly after Christmas the hubby did some eBay shopping and got us some snow shoes.  They were previously used but are in excellent condition.  We have now been able to go the past two Saturday mornings.  It is an excellent workout that is for sure.  Last weekend the kids stayed over night with Jason's parents so we were able to go first thing Saturday morning to a set of trails right around the corner from our home.  Today we headed out to Lake Ann as we are in TC and my parents were home to watch the kids for us.  Today's trek was a lot more hillier and definitely wore me out.  It was a nice way to start our day though, together, in the woods, with some peace and quiet.
