Trick-or-Treat

Kylynn was up at 6:30 this morning wanting to know when she was going to go trick-or-treating, come on. Wow, I hope Christmas morning isn't like this. We had a fun day going to the mall and then heading to Grandma's to go trick-or-treating with her cousin Cambrey. I also will show a few other pictures from our week, pumpkin carving and playing in the leaves. The first time she played in the leaves she slipped on the driveway and got a fat, bloody lip. So we have a nice scab in her halloween pictures, such is life. Can't believe it's November tomorrow!
For those of you who are reading this out there and don't know already my job is in jeopardy at semester time. Wyoming is laying off 20 teachers in January. Just pray that things will work out for me that I may keep my job and if I do keep my job may the transition be smooth. If I keep my job I will most likely be teaching at a different school and a different grade level. So keep me in your prayers. This is an added stress that I don't need right now. I'm trying not to let this bother me and just focus on teaching my students and doing my job. The state of Michigan is terrible right now and I just pray that things can get turned around and start looking on the up side again.
Enjoy some pictures of my girls, one of the things that continues to help me get through the days, knowing I can come home to their big beautiful smiles.

Fall in TC...

Oh how I love to go home in the fall, Traverse City is home for me, it will always be. I love looking out the windows of my parents house and seeing the colors, they are absolutely gorgeous. I had a great trip up to TC, besides hearing Kylynn say, are we there yet, are we on Grandma's street yet, it was a good trip. Just the girls and I. Jason was in the UP hunting, what's new?! Anyway, we had some fun with family and friends. We headed over to visit Lauren and Camden to play for awhile and then when it was lunch time the moms headed out to wine taste. Trish, Kari, and I headed out with our wonderful driver, mom, thanks again! We had a ton of fun, lots of laughs. Can't wait to do it again! Enjoy the pictures!

Had to add this photo, my girls and their new hats and boots, they are crazy!

Our little trooper

Addisyn had tear duct surgery this morning and she did incredibly well. She got her gown on, climbed up on the bed and was all set to go. She got a little antsy waiting for the doctor but she walked around the room and played peek-a-boo through the glass door with the nurses. The nurse came in and she put her hands out and went with her with no problems. I think mom had a rougher time. Surgery took about 45 minutes and we were able to go back with her. I sat with her on my lap for 30 minutes and she didn't let out a peep. Just relaxed, slept and sat up a few times. She's resting now in her bed. Thank you for those of you who prayed. She has eye nerves like her dad and they are just going to keep an eye on them. Otherwise everything went well and she'll be just fine.
