a little bit of everything

Addisyn Joy, such a joy in our lives

Well, spring break has finally arrived. I am so excited to have some time to get caught up at home and spend with my family. Most of all I'm looking forward to sleeping in, hopefully my kids will sleep in for me that is. Grandma and Grandpa VanDyke will be here tomorrow for the weekend so that will be fun. Hopefully mom and I can get out to Holland to shop a little. Other than that we are just going to relax and take it easy.

Who me?The mess he made tonight!

We got a new toy this week for Kylynn, which will be for all of the kids eventually. We're excited to use it and go on family bike rides. Kylynn gets to ride the trail behind bike and the other two will be in the trailer. Which one will I take? Haven't decided yet. J said that the trail behind is a balancing act, yet the trailer will be heavy with the two of them in it, an extra 50 or 60 pounds.one sad little sister,

Easton is getting so big so fast. 8 1/2 months yesterday, that is crazy. He is up on his knees and scooting all around. It's only a matter of time before he is crawling. Not looking forward to that, then he is mobile and will be on the go more.

Looks like he's doing a push up,

Sorry for the delay

Our little guy has been 8 months for about a week and a half now and life is just crazy busy that I finally took his 8 month photos two nights ago and now I'm getting around to his 8 month post, guess that's what happens when you have 3 under 5 years of age.

Easton Marc at 8 months:

-starting to get up on his knees

-rolls everywhere

-loves his food

-sometimes not too thrilled with bottles

-trying to drink from a sippy cup but right now he just chews on it

-had an awesome appointment at DeVos last week, doesn't have to go for another year

-loves to flirt

-very happy boy

-thrilled when his sisters pay attention to him

-wearing 12 month clothes and some 18 month stuff

-still in size 4 diapers but it might be the last box

-loves to splash in the bath tub

-favorite toys: star chew viberator, sponge letters in the bath and his new basketballs from Uncle Brandon (the star toy vibrates when he bites down on it, all of my kids have loved it)

-becoming a momma's boy

-lights up when daddy comes home though

-one good and happy little boy

Lovin this weather

Tonight when we got home the kids played outside for awhile. The girls helped Daddy wash his truck while Easton sat and played in the stroller. Then the bikes came out and Easton got to ride in the car, he absolutely loved it. I can't wait to play outside more with him and the girls. They loved blowing bubbles, playing with chalk and riding their bikes. I am so looking forward to this spring and summer, fun times ahead.

cleaning those teefers

Easton got his 1st teeth a few weeks back and I kinda forgot about bringing out his new tooth brush. He got it for Christmas in his stocking so tonight I broke it out and brushed his two teefers he has. He loved chewing on the toothbrush when I was done. He'll be 8 months already next week, so sad! I've been trying to get him to wave or clap, not happening. No words from him either. I guess I shouldn't rush it, he is my baby and when he's done we're done with baby things so I should just enjoy it.
Conference week for me so that means late nights and not much time with my kiddos. We also sold our suburban so we will be down to one vehicle this week and I can't drive it so it will be an interesting week. So thankful it sold but it will be challenging carting the kiddos around and getting to and from work with J this week.
Have a great week!

Wordless Wednesday, almost

Notice the bib, handsome like my daddy!

This is what happens when you have older sisters who like to dress up.
