HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLYNN!!!

Tomorrow will be Kylynn's 2nd Birthday! It is so amazing how two years just flies by. At this time 2 years ago I was sitting on the beach in Holland. I started to feel contractions around 1:00 and thought I better head home. I headed home around 3:00. We headed to the Hospital and she was born at 12:28 early on the 30th of June. What an amazing 2 years it has been. She is such a joy to our lives and many others. I am so happy when I'm around her, well the terrible twos are starting, but really she is such a ball of energy and joy. I hope you all have a great week, we'll be camping at Holland State Park for the week and celebrating Kylynn's birthday out there. Here's some pictures to cherish of our sweet little girl who will be TWO!

Home for a few days...

Well, I survived my first camping experience with two children. It really went well. Kylynn had so much fun with her friends. She had lots of little mothers for the week, it made it very nice for me. The girls did great sleeping in the trailer and we had a lot of fun. It was nice to relax at night with the ladies around the fire. I even lost a pound and a quarter during the week:) I was pretty excited about that. I am still attending weight watcher meetings even though I'm at my goal weight. I'd like to lose another 10 pounds so I have to keep myself on track. Here's some photos of our highlights of the week.

What a happy baby, she did great all week!

Random Post

So I've started the Facebook thing and I've slacked at the blog lately. We're heading to Hungry Horse tomorrow for the week. Should be interesting. Kylynn toured the trailer tonight and she really liked it. She wanted to sleep out there tonight. We'll see how she does. I am still not packed but that will get done tomorrow. We had a great weekend. Jason and I were able to get out for a date night. We went out to dinner at Boat Works, I don't know if I spelled that right or not, but then we went shopping for Kylynn's birthday. That way I have his help and he can make some of the decisions. On Saturday my mom, sister, Addisyn, and I drove to Chicago for a shower for Katie, lots of fun. Kylynn went to watch Unity win their 4th state championship with my dad, Jason, Jason's dad, Brian, and Brandon. Poor Kylynn, not, they sure did spoil her. She had fun. Father's day was spent at Jason's parents. We had a nice time. Now it's off to Dorr and then home for a few days and out to Holland for the 4th. Have a great week!

Busy Weekend...

It's been a busy week for us preparing for our big weekend. We had Katie's Bridal Shower at our home today and we have Addisyn's baptism tomorrow. We were busy planting flowers and getting the house all ready for the big events. Here's some pictures from our week. We had a great time at the shower and hopefully everything goes well tomorrow with baptism. I'll post some pictures of that either later tomorrow or early next week. Hope everyone is enjoying all of this rain and heat. Doesn't make for nice days to be outside in the sun, hopefully we will have some nice days this week to enjoy being outside. Kylynn just absolutely loves being outside. Have a great rest of the weekend.

Kylynn's bed head one morning this week, I just had to post this. If I woke up with my hair like this I wouldn't be as cute, that's for sure.

Katie's and a shower gift, I think she had a good time.

Summer Time...

Last week was a busy week for me, I went back to work for 4 days. Yeah, I know you think, whoopee, 4 days! It kicked my butt, let me tell you. Getting the girls up and worrying about pumping and all of that fun stuff had me exhausted. The week went very well though. I was glad to be back at work, even if it was only for 4 days. It went well, the kids were great and I was able to say good bye and wrap things up in my classroom. Addisyn did amazing with the bottle, thank goodness. She just sucked them right down and did really well for both my aunt and my mother-in-law. This morning when I went to get Kylynn up she wanted to go to Auntie's and started to cry when I told her we weren't going to Auntie's. She loves to go to my aunt's and that is such a great feeling to know that they are loved and they love going there. We've been busy around the house getting ready for Katie's shower next week and Baptism. We bought our flowers and I planted the large pots tonight. Jason planted our garden last week and Kylynn helped. I told her I have to get her some rubber boots so that she can go in and help him more. So off to Target I need to go to get those rubber boots. I need to upload the pictures yet from gardening, I thought they were on here. I'll post those later this week. Here's Kylynn at the Memorial Day Parade last week in Jenison. I tried to get creative with her bows. I need to fix them up a little for the 4th. She had fun, did not like the fire trucks though.
