Spring Break Day #2

Today Easton got his hair cut and the kids played on the porch a lot.  It is warmer out so the porch is a go.  Sorry, no pictures.  The kids were looking forward all day to coloring Easter eggs.  Dying Easter eggs was always a tradition that we did at my grandparents house.  I love to do it, but doing it with three kids isn't always as fun.  They all enjoyed it and we only had one spill.  The word of the evening was 'gentle'. One of these years we'll get together with cousins and make a new tradition.

Spring Break Day #1

Day one of our Staycation!  The tradition began last year when we headed to the Kroc Center with the Vugteveen cousins.  So we did it again.  The kids loved it, especially Easton, he did not want to leave.  This summer should be a ton of fun.

My nephew Mason, loved the slide, when it was time to go!

Then we headed over to Frog Hollow for a picnic lunch.
The kids were excited to play at the park.  It was a beautiful day!

the swing was a hit and so was Uncle Brandon

Day one was great, Day two has been a more relaxed day.  We have a few things planned for the week but nothing big.  Hoping the weather stays nice, at least warm enough for the kids to get outside!

Life lately

Last weekend we headed to TC to visit with my parents and sister.  We were able to celebrate Addisyn's birthday one last time, she was pretty excited about her cake.  I just love this picture of her.  It captures her so well.  We had a fun weekend with some relaxing, shopping, playing with friends, and the girls got to go to see Beauty and The Beast with my mom and sister.  Jason and I were able to get out for a date, a much needed date.  This weekend we are lying low, another much needed thing around here.  It was a rough week on me so I am going to soak up every moment to just relax.

I was able to take a day this week to spend the morning with Addisyn and her class.  They have been learning about the stars, sun, and moon and so we headed downtown to the planetarium.  It was a fun morning with my baby girl.

Addi's 5th Birthday

We had fun celebrating Addisyn this week.  She was at Amy's for the day and Amy made her day special.  After work she opened her gifts and we enjoyed some dinner at Brann's.  She was so appreciative of everything and so thankful.  I just love her so!
