Ten +2 on Tuesday

1.  We celebrated Jason's Grandpa's 95th Birthday on January 18.  He was blessed with many visitors throughout the weekend and he really enjoyed the company.  We had a nice visit with him as well as his sister and brother who were both there along with some other friends.  We are blessed to still have him around, such a special Old Papa he is.

Jason is very much a Scholma and looks up to his Grandpa, they have a very special relationship and I love the fact that he is still here to hear stories from and reminisce with.

2.  We decorated Easton's heart for his Preschool class bulletin board.  This was on our snow day last Thursday, actually an Ice Day that was completely a surprise.  Addisyn was so helpful.

I think it turned out cute.

Addisyn helped her little brother with his project.

3.  These girls are the best of friends!  There are times when they are at each other's throats but times like this I cherish.  They help each other and play so well together.  They truly love each other.  I sure hope they are always this close!

4.  Another ice day memory making activity, play dough.  I can't stand play dough and the mess it makes but I am trying to live in the moment and allow my kiddos the chance to make memories.  They love play dough so I sucked it up and let them enjoy each other while being creative.

5.  Last week Kylynn and some of her friends performed a dance to " I Will Follow" by Chris Tomlin at Chapel.  She sang this in front of church this past fall with our GEMS at church and ever since then continued working on it with friends at school.  This momma was pretty proud that she cared that much about this song and it's meaning to want to share it with her school.

6.  I am on the Hospitality committee at the kids school and was in charge, with another friend, to plan the supper before the high school basketball game to get families together and then to head over to the basketball game.  The kids loved it last year and especially this year as we allowed the girls some freedom to walk around with their friends.  Kylynn invited Ellie to come before their sleepover.

Easton and Carter have been friends since birth.  Love this picture

7.  Easton was an only child Friday night as his sisters were enjoying their first
official sleep over.  I love this moment I captured from the couch.
Chillin with his dad and Remi had to get right in there too.

8.  I am going to New Kids On The Block, NKOTB, on May 30 with a friend from work.  I was obsessed with them when I was in middle school and heard about them coming to GR awhile back.  We talked about going and then I saw someone post on FB that they had bought tickets, I had totally forgot about it.  Thankfully it wasn't too late and I was able to get us some tickets.  I am so pumped and can't wait to see them in concert.  It is going to be a blast!

9.  I had a 31 party a few weeks ago and my goodies showed up yesterday, look at the goodies I got.  So blessed by friends and family who made purchases so I could get these awesome items!  Super excited about my new purse, it is green and I added a pink strap, ready for spring ya think!?

10.  He has some big shoes to fill

11.  Another snowday!  Snowstorm 2015 hit Super Bowl night and school was canceled.  The kids were not supposed to have school any way and I was going to be taking them to day care so it was a nice treat for me to be home with them.  They played outside for a little while together.  Not long but I did enjoy a little peace and quiet.  I love that they play well together.

12.  Just because it is a snow day doesn't mean we don't do school work.  I assigned them some work to do while I showered.  They had to do some workbook pages and quiz each other on math facts.  Their report cards mentioned that each of them needed to work at home on math facts so we are going to be hitting them hard.  Hopefully this is a job they can do with dad.  They like to read with me but math facts is a good dad job, don't ya think?!
