Easter with the Vugteveen's

This year my parents were on their way home from Florida so we did Easter with the Vugteveen's.  The kids had fun hunting for eggs, which had their little bit of candy in it, from the Easter Bunny.  They got some good loot from the Easter Bunny too, good thing the Easter Bunny shops all year and gets good clearance deals.  We opened baskets before church, headed to church and then to the Vugteveen's for a delicious Easter lunch and another fun Easter Egg Hunt.  Good times!

We had a nice day celebrating Easter with the family.  We talked with the kids that night about what Easter is really about.  The girls knew exactly what it was about as they had talked about it in school.  We had also talked about it leading up to Easter.  The egg hunts and baskets are fun but that is not what Easter is all about.  I think they get it, they are smarter than we think!
