On the way to Wisconsin we made a pit stop in Illinois, Cabela's to be exact. We left the house around 6:40 in the morning, stopped at IHOP for breakfast and then over to Cabela's. Jason thought it would be good to have breakfast and then let the kids walk around at Cabela's. I think it was more for him but that's okay, we'll let him think it was a good idea for the kiddos. The kids were quite impressed with the animals.

The kiddos had a blast on day one. We went to the waterpark closest to the condo and there were some small slides for the kids and then two larger ones. We did the double tube and some of the adults did the body slides. I think I would have some upset sister-in-laws if I posted their pictures, you make some crazy faces coming out of those slides. Stay tuned for more of our wonderful vacation.
