Last summer Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore was voted one of the most beautiful places in America. So we had to check it out. We headed out there the afternoon of my big race. Call me crazy for running 13 miles and then climbing the dunes. The knees were a little sore but well worth it. The girls loved it! Easton was not so sure of the sand but he did well. We had a great time as a family and made some memories together.
