10 on Tuesday

1.  A couple of weeks ago I was able to take a personal day and spend it with Addisyn and the 2nd graders.  We toured the Veteran's Park, which this happened to be Veteran's Day.  It was neat to talk about the veteran's and serving our country with the kids.  We took a picture here because my Grandpa was in the Navy and a veteran of WWII.  A beautiful morning with some wonderful kids.

She voted YES to chickens being allowed in the city.

2.  My girls were twins, fuzzy fleece jackets, Michigan shirts and their fashion boots.
Love these two!

3.  Dad was away hunting so out to lunch it was after church.
The kids new favorite restaurant is Anna's House.  We enjoyed our lunch.

4. One of the girls Jason and I had in Youth Group had a sweet baby girl back in July.  Yes you read that right.  We were not able to coordinate a time to visit then so we finally got to meet sweet Savannah Ellen.  She is a doll with all of her dark hair.  She wasn't a fan of me so much but loved my girls.  Looks like we have some babysitters in the works.

5.  Such an honor to be considered one of the top 10 coaches for Team Body Burn last week.  And I just was honored again this week.  This Beachbody thing is working out well for me and I am loving what I am doing.   I was #5 last week and #7 this week out of hundreds of coaches!  Pretty pumped!

6.  They made turkey hats at daycare, love them!

7.   Feast time for the kids.  Easton had his feast at school that Jason was able to attend.  I was bummed but he did good with getting a picture for me.  We just love Mrs. V and can't get enough of her.

Addisyn had her Thanksgiving Feast last Friday with the 2nd graders.  I am so blessed to have a friend there who sent me these pictures.  What a great day they had.  We are so blessed!

9.  Our friend Wendy picks Easton up for us and brings him to school.  Her son Wade has become a super good buddy to Easton.  Last week she took them to Wendy's for lunch, he loved it.  Such a cute picture she sent to me while I was at work.

10.  Addisyn was the first one outside to play in the snow.  She is my outdoors girl through and through.  She built a snowman and enjoyed playing in the snow.  The other two did join her.
This past week I lost a very dear friend and coworker to a brain tumor.  I am still in shock I think and not accepting that she is really gone.  She was the definition of friend, she listened, she laughed, she helped, she did anything for you.  I am not quite sure how I am going to make it the rest of the school year without her guidance and help.  She taught 7th grade science at my school and was a huge help to me.  She helped me with copies, she helped me figure out how I would modify lessons, she created tests, she did it all.  I am going to miss her as a coworker but more importantly as a friend.  We have some great memories though that I will cling to and cherish!
