Today my mom, sister and I traveled down to Naperville for Baby VanDyke's baby shower. Katie is such a glowing pregnant momma. She looks fantastic preggars, only wished I looked so good. On the way down we had to make a pit stop for the hubby at Cabela's for a look in the bargain cave and another important purchase. Once we were back on the road we made our way to the shower and were even a few minutes early.

Baby VanDyke received a ton of books. One thing a teacher is always happy about. Books are a great gift to give a new baby.Overall it was a beautiful day for a drive and a baby shower. We had a nice time, delicious food and good conversation. I think baby VanDyke is all set to join us. It's amazing how much stuff you need for one little person to enter the world. Hope they have fun preparing for her. We can't wait to meet her!
