Ten on Tuesday +1

I had some computer issues awhile back and that explains the lack of blogging.  My new laptop is up and running again so I will be catching up on the blogging over the next few days.  What we've been up to.
 1.  Back about a month ago we had a date night with our friends Brent and Kristen.  My hubby planned the night, we started at 616 shooting range where we shot handguns, it was fun, I guess I was lucky I didn't lose a thumb.  I was holding it wrong.  We'll have to go again and practice some more I guess.  We then went to Great Lakes Shipping to use some restaurant certificates Jason bought around the holidays.  It was delicious, and a fun night with friends.

I was a little high but grouped, I was told that was pretty good.

2.  I finally broke down and bought some cross trainers.  I wanted something to wear when I do my BeachBody workout videos at home.  I love them, perfect for what I need them for.

3.  Addisyn helped Daddy make pretzel pizza dough for our Valentine's dinner.  We weren't going to be home so we came up with a spontaneous dinner, it was a big win and Addi loved helping.

4.  We celebrated this little girl's 7th birthday, more on that in another post. I can't believe that she is 7 already, time is flying.  She is so special, can't imagine life without her.  God has truly blessed us!

5.  Loving my new running hat from Lululemon, so comfy

6.  Kylynn had her derby races for GEMS, she placed 5th for 2nd and 3rd graders, boys and girls.  She was pretty proud.  A great learning experience and a fun night.

7.  Some of the couples from church got together for a bean bag tournament, it was tons of fun.  Except for the fact that I lost to my husband.  Great fun, looking forward to spring and summer and playing some more bags!

8.  Mother Daughter Pajama Party at HCS, the girls and I had a blast!

9.  My shopping buddy, I got a 40% text from Gap Outlet so out to Holland I went, with my mini me.  We got some great deals!  Now I just have to go through my spring summer clothes to see what else we need.  She did a great job and I enjoyed our one on one time.

9.  First and Last family sledding trip for the year.  Charlie's Dump is a favorite for the kids, we had a great time, the sun was shinning and the kids were hitting the jumps and loving their new snow tubes.

10.  My kiddos after church!  Love them so

11.  We headed out to Holland to check out the frozen Lake Michigan.  We weren't the only ones with this great idea on a beautiful sunny afternoon.  Took some great pictures, another post soon.

Next time they are on a beach they will be in their bathing suits!

Ten +2 on Tuesday

1.  We celebrated Jason's Grandpa's 95th Birthday on January 18.  He was blessed with many visitors throughout the weekend and he really enjoyed the company.  We had a nice visit with him as well as his sister and brother who were both there along with some other friends.  We are blessed to still have him around, such a special Old Papa he is.

Jason is very much a Scholma and looks up to his Grandpa, they have a very special relationship and I love the fact that he is still here to hear stories from and reminisce with.

2.  We decorated Easton's heart for his Preschool class bulletin board.  This was on our snow day last Thursday, actually an Ice Day that was completely a surprise.  Addisyn was so helpful.

I think it turned out cute.

Addisyn helped her little brother with his project.

3.  These girls are the best of friends!  There are times when they are at each other's throats but times like this I cherish.  They help each other and play so well together.  They truly love each other.  I sure hope they are always this close!

4.  Another ice day memory making activity, play dough.  I can't stand play dough and the mess it makes but I am trying to live in the moment and allow my kiddos the chance to make memories.  They love play dough so I sucked it up and let them enjoy each other while being creative.

5.  Last week Kylynn and some of her friends performed a dance to " I Will Follow" by Chris Tomlin at Chapel.  She sang this in front of church this past fall with our GEMS at church and ever since then continued working on it with friends at school.  This momma was pretty proud that she cared that much about this song and it's meaning to want to share it with her school.

6.  I am on the Hospitality committee at the kids school and was in charge, with another friend, to plan the supper before the high school basketball game to get families together and then to head over to the basketball game.  The kids loved it last year and especially this year as we allowed the girls some freedom to walk around with their friends.  Kylynn invited Ellie to come before their sleepover.
Addisyn found her friend Avery
Easton and Carter have been friends since birth.  Love this picture

7.  Easton was an only child Friday night as his sisters were enjoying their first
official sleep over.  I love this moment I captured from the couch.
Chillin with his dad and Remi had to get right in there too.

8.  I am going to New Kids On The Block, NKOTB, on May 30 with a friend from work.  I was obsessed with them when I was in middle school and heard about them coming to GR awhile back.  We talked about going and then I saw someone post on FB that they had bought tickets, I had totally forgot about it.  Thankfully it wasn't too late and I was able to get us some tickets.  I am so pumped and can't wait to see them in concert.  It is going to be a blast!

9.  I had a 31 party a few weeks ago and my goodies showed up yesterday, look at the goodies I got.  So blessed by friends and family who made purchases so I could get these awesome items!  Super excited about my new purse, it is green and I added a pink strap, ready for spring ya think!?

10.  He has some big shoes to fill

11.  Another snowday!  Snowstorm 2015 hit Super Bowl night and school was canceled.  The kids were not supposed to have school any way and I was going to be taking them to day care so it was a nice treat for me to be home with them.  They played outside for a little while together.  Not long but I did enjoy a little peace and quiet.  I love that they play well together.

12.  Just because it is a snow day doesn't mean we don't do school work.  I assigned them some work to do while I showered.  They had to do some workbook pages and quiz each other on math facts.  Their report cards mentioned that each of them needed to work at home on math facts so we are going to be hitting them hard.  Hopefully this is a job they can do with dad.  They like to read with me but math facts is a good dad job, don't ya think?!

Vug Fam Pics 2014

Well, better late than never.  We had family pictures taken with Jason's family back in September but when I got the disc they wouldn't play on my computer so I looked at them on Jason's computer but wasn't able to do much with them.  I thought it would be good to finally post them and share with everyone.  Excited also that I can finally order my canvas of my 3 little blessings.  We just had our family pictures done 2 years ago and bought a huge canvas for above my mantle so I didn't want to replace that yet.  I love the picture of my three kids so I thought I would do an 11x14 of the kiddos.
I am blessed, so thankful for these 4 individuals God blessed me with

They love their little brother

Look at that diva on the end, Addisyn Joy
