Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is a day set aside to Give Thanks!  That we did.  We started the day worshiping our God, what a beautiful service it was.  Then we headed home and waited for my family to arrive.  It was so nice to have everyone here and together.  We haven't all been together since our days at the cottage back in August and I don't know when the next time will be either.  It was great to be with my niece Chloe, she is getting so big.  Hopefully I'll be able to update later with pictures, until then enjoy your families and make wonderful memories together.

Give thanks to the Lord for he is GOOD; His love endures forever.

blog troubles again

I'm having problems with the blog again.  It appears I have hit my max with storage and photos.  If anyone has any advice or knows how to fix this I'm all ears.  I know that I can go in to Picassa Web Albums and delete pictures but part of me doesn't want to do that because if I do then my pictures are gone forever and what if I want to print this blog in a book someday?  Help!  Very frustrated. So for now both of my blogs are on hold till I figure this out!

Santa Parade

What a beautiful morning it was for a parade!  The kids and I headed
to Hudsonville Saturday morning with the Spiedel's and Reifschneiders and one of Julie's friends from college who happened to graduate the year ahead of me at TC to take in the Santa Parade.
The girls were pretty excited as they would be throwing candy.  We have more candy than
we know what to do with.  I will be taking some to school, not really necessary to have
half a cinch sack full of candy.

Easton spent most of the time standing behind the stroller.
He wasn't too sure of some of the floats.  He sure did make a ton of noise though.

We had a great time, can't wait for next years!  The kids did great!

baking with mom

The girls love to help me in the kitchen, especially if it involves licking a spoon or bowl.  We had some old bananas lying around so we made some banana chocolate chip muffins.  They even wanted to put on their aprons.

Christmas baking is right around the corner.  One of my favorite things to do at Christmas time is bake.  Can't wait to bake with my little helpers.  Maybe we can try some new creations this year!

Weekend In Review

We had a fun weekend, I was able to get some time away for Mommy Time.  We also had a good time at Family Fun Night.  Yesterday Addi didn't feel the greatest so I got some extra snuggles from her.  A good weekend, but they go way too fast.
Easton got his first tattoo, wasn't too sure about it

one sick little boy

Poor Easton came down with the stomach flu Sunday night.  When I got home from my run Jason had said that he had gotten sick 3 or 4 times.  He looked so sad laying on the couch.  The only positive was he was up for some extra snuggles.  He made it through the night and mommy stayed home with him for the day.  He was still a little down and out in the morning but after his 4 hour nap he was ready and rearing to go.  Here's hoping no one else gets it.
So precious!  Snuggled in on Momma!
His sisters were so sweet they made him get well cards and sang him a song!
Love Kylynn's spelling
A happy little brother

We have a toothless girl now!

Last week Tuesday night Kylynn lost her first tooth.  She went to the dentist a little over a month ago and they told her it was getting loose.  She had been wiggling it since then.  I thought it was ready the week before it actually came out but we were corrected by the 'tooth puller-outer' our friend Kristen.  She said it had some time yet.  Last Tuesday I was with Easton getting his hair cut and when I got home it was out, boy was I happy.  Kylynn is much like her mother and let's just say we are wimps.  I was not looking forward to Jason having to pull it out, so thankfully it fell out on it's own.  She was going to have him wiggle it and see if it was ready to come out and she moved her tongue and out it came!
Check out the hole!

At dinner Jason told her that if she was good the Tooth Fairy would bring paper money and if she wasn't it would probably be coins.
The next morning Addisyn and Kylynn came running into the bathroom while I was in the shower so excited that Kylynn was left paper money, she must have been a good girl, said Addi.  She was one happy little girl with her $1.00 from the Tooth Fairy.
