Pinkalicious

I surprised the girls with tickets to the Civic Theater's performance of Pinkcalicious.  They had seen the comercials on TV and said they wanted to go so I thought it would be a fun night out for the girls.  We made sure to get dressed in pink and off we went.

Soccer Fun

Last week the girls started soccer and I wasn't able to go as I was on a shopping trip so I was pretty geeked to go see them play.  Now this is a little different than AYSO, the girls spend time learning the skills for soccer.  But to them it is the same and that is all that matters.

Just my size

This has been a favorite toy since Kylynn, I'm sure there are many posts of my kiddos on the slide that sits on the porch.  We were just talking about getting rid of it next year but Easton is still quite amused by it so we'll hang on to it for a little while longer.

What's this?
A microphone?
(a telescope, hopefully he'll figure it out soon)

Tulip Time, a little early

One of my favorite times of the year is Tulip Time, I absolutely love tulips.  Well, because of the amazing spring we are having we headed out to Holland about a month ahead of schedule.  It was a beautiful evening for a walk downtown Holland.  I had bought a TryItLocal to 8th Street Grille so we had some dinner and checked out the tulips.  Hard to always get pics of busy little kids but I think we got a few.

A trip to the butterflies

During Spring Break we headed to Fredrick Meijer Gardens to check out the butterflies with some great friends.  I had been there just a few weeks before with Kylynn's class and we had a chance to go out to the Lena Meijer Gardens, for children so we wanted to come back with the kids to check it out and allow them to play, not in the rain.  So that we did.  Lindsay, Martha, Ellie, Carter, and the kiddos and I headed off and had a great time!

A little more Easter

Since we weren't heading to TC for Easter Grandma left them some special Easter Baskets.  The Easter Bunny came in the morning and then they got goodies from Grandma and Grandpa Vugteveen at lunch time so I waited till after dinner to bring out the other baskets.  Lots of goodies for one day.

Thank you Grandma for the baskets full of goodies, they love their jump ropes and their bracelets.  Easton absolutely loves his new soccer ball.

Another addition...

Meet Austin Ross Vugteveen!  Our newest cousin, nephew, to the Vugteveen Family

 He is so precious!

This week we welcomed another little cousin, nephew, into The Vugteveen Family.  Jason's brother Brandon and his wife Jana had a little baby boy, Austin Ross on Tuesday.  He weighed 8lbs 10oz and was 21 inches long.  Mom and baby are doing wonderful.  I wasn't able to get up there on Tuesday which totally bugged me but I had training that I had to be at.  So we trekked up to the hospital on Wednesday night.  My computer has been on the fritz all week so I'm finally able to post tonight.  He is a cutie and the girls loved being able to hold another baby cousin.  Easton thought he was pretty cool too.

Enjoying holding baby Austin

Jana is one of the Managers at a local Home Depot,
I just love this cute little apron

One Happy Family

So needless to say with my computer on the fritz I am a little behind on the blogging.  I hope to get caught up this weekend with some more posts about our wonderful spring break and some more fun things that have been happening at The Vugteveen home.

Happy Easter!

Easter was wonderful at the Vugteveen home.  It started off with the Easter Bunny visiting our home.  The kids were definitely spoiled again this year.  Sandals, movies, dvd's and more.  Then off to church where I was in Little People's with Addisyn and got to share the good news of Easter with the 2 and 3 year olds.  They were quite cute!  After church we stopped home to take a few pictures and then it was off to Grandma and Grandpa Vugteveen's for some fun.
 Check out their baskets

Our Family

I'm having issues uploading some pictures so I'll do another post sometime this week.  Back to work I go!  8 weeks and counting, Summer will be here before you know it.
