Maple Tree Christian Preschool Gradutation

Kylynn's last day of preschool!
Kylynn and her teachers, Miss Kim, Mrs. Thompson, and Miss Smith. She had a fantastic year with these ladies and has grown so much. We truly were blessed to have her at Maple Tree and to be touched by these wonderful teachers.

Kylynn is off to Pre-K next year and we can't wait for what the future holds for this beautiful young girl. She is such a joy to our lives and has learned so much this year. We feel truly blessed to know that she is a Child of God's and we have been entrusted with her. Watching her praise God and talk about his stories are such a gift. Kylynn Joy, can't wait to see what God has in store for you.

Quite the load...

J took all of the kids for a bike ride on Sunday. I was able to sit out on the deck and get a little sun, read my magazine and listen to some tunes on the Ipod. It was a nice break for me but quite the workout for him. Lots more of these kinds of bike rides yet to come this summer. The kids absolutely love going for bike rides, especially when they get to go to a park. Kylynn thinks she is big stuff riding the bike and Easton and Addi love going along for the ride.

10 months old!

Our little guy is 10 months old today! He got to celebrate it with a trip to the ER. Poor guy has had diarrhea since Monday, I think he's teething. We went to the doctor on Thursday and she said he had the start of an ear infection so she started him on an antibiotic. I made sure this one wasn't going to make his butt worst but it made his stool red. I thought it was blood. So it happened again on Saturday and I said if it happened on Sunday we'd call. Well, it happened, just a little bit but still it worried me. So they told us to head in to the ER. We brought the diaper for them to test. It was not blood, thank God. The supervising Doctor said that the antibiotic he is on does that. Wish they would have told me that, I was quite worried. Guess it's good though, he's just fine. We ended the visit with him falling asleep on mommy. Oh I just loved it, having my baby sleeping in my arms. He doesn't do that anymore so I soaked it up. Some of his 10 month stats:
-weighs 23.10 lbs
-likes some 3rd foods, not all
-pulling himself up on things
-his new trick this weekend is walking behind this cool toy, he absolute loves it

-his sisters love to help him too

-wearing 18 month sizes

-size 4 diapers during the day size 5 at night

-loves his daddy

-loves his puppies

-likes to grind his teeth

-has 4 little teethers

-takes 4 6 oz bottles

-is on the move all of the time, loves to crawl down the hallway to his sisters room

I DID IT!!!

Rain and all, I did it! And I think I managed to make my goal of 1 hour. We'll see what the official results are tomorrow morning. 10K done and in the books for this momma of 3. I'm so proud of myself for accomplishing this goal. The training paid off, I felt great, despite the rain. Thanks to my running buddy Hannah, we set out on a journey and it is complete. I think that I can do this again:)

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's day to all of the mommys out there! I also have been thinking of all of the mothers who have lost children recently or not and those who wish to be mothers. Once a mother always a mother I have always said. As soon as you are pregnant and you carry that baby you have become a mother. Please keep those in your prayers who have lost babies or those who wish to be mothers. This has touched our family closely with J's sister and we continue to keep them in our prayers as they still hope for an earthly child they can love and hold.

Today was a nice relaxing day with family. My girls are knowing what the day is all about now, well Kylynn does. Addisyn didn't want to tell me Happy Mother's Day this morning, don't think she totally gets it yet.

Me and my three beautiful blessings
Kylynn Joy, my first born and the one who keeps us on our toes,
love her to pieces!Addisyn Joy, the sparkler of the family, she sure does have a
zest for life that we couldn't live without! Love her to bits!Easton Marc, our baby boy, the apple of my eye and my momma's boy!
Loving watching him explore new things yet sad it's my last!
Love him tons!

Then there is my mom, she is such a special friend to me. She is there for me as a mother and is the best role model ever. There isn't anything that she wouldn't do for me or my children and for that I am truly blessed. She means so much to me and I don't know what I would do without her. Love ya mom! Sorry we couldn't be with you to celebrate today, see you in a few weeks.

Zoo Field Trip

Last week I had the privilige of going on another field trip with Kylynn. This time we headed to the Zoo. We had a great time together hunting for the animals on her paper. She had to find all or as many animals as she could on her paper. It was like a scavenger hunt, she loved it. Enjoy the pictures of our morning together. We got a little rained on but we survived.

9 months, finally

Easton Marc

Check out my 4 teeth!

I love to stand up nowWho me?

Oops! Life has been a little busy lately so I am finally getting to posting about Easton's 9 month mile markers. He is 9 1/2 months old and I just took his 9 month pics tonight. I am waiting for the weather to warm up to do some outside shots for his 9 month photo shoot, we'll see how that goes.

I can't believe my little guy is 9 months old already. Heck, he's half way to 10 months! Wow, time flies! Easton is starting to get in to trouble and I think he's going to give us a run for our money. He's in to EVERYTHING! But we wouldn't have it any other way! He is so much fun and we're enjoying all of his new tricks.

-is starting to wave on his own

-claps his hands when he hears someone else clapping

-is full blown crawling and crawling everywhere

-pulling himself up on things (not completely to his feet yet)

-learned to walk with someone and is liking that

-he doesn't like to be put in the jump -a- roo anymore (how will I take showers this summer?)

-started eating 3rd foods

-doesn't care for the big chunks quite yet

-wearing 12 month, 12-18 months, and 18 month clothes

-has 4 teeth now and is drooling like crazy again - more coming?

-takes 4 bottles a day, mostly 6 oz each but sometimes 7 or 8 oz 1st in the morning or right for bed

-loves bathtime

Loving our Easton and can't believe we'll be celebrating his birthday before you know it!
